PREJUDICE REDUCTION

Why is Reduction Needed?

Prejudice Reduction is a serious effort to encourage respect for and acceptance of our diversity.  According to statistics recently published by various government sources, prejudice, discrimination, and hate crimes are increasing throughout the United States.  Evidence indicates that prejudicial attitudes are developed as early as 6 years of age.  As America becomes an increasing diverse society, it is imperative that we learn to accept and appreciate our differences.
